The stash update in ARC Raiders changes the rhythm of a run more than it first lets on. It's not just extra space, and it's not a neat little menu tweak either. The moment you start bringing back mixed loot, spare weapons, parts, ammo, and ARC Raiders BluePrints, you're forced to make choices instead of dumping everything into storage and forgetting about it. That's where the update bites. A messy stash now slows you down before the next raid even starts, and players who used to hoard "just in case" items will feel that pressure pretty quickly.

Storage Now Has Real Weight
The biggest change is how stash growth is tied to actual progress. Your space no longer feels like a flat box that simply gets bigger over time. It responds more to your level, base upgrades, and the quality of materials you've managed to extract. That makes successful raids matter outside of the loot screen. If you keep pulling rare components and pushing workshop upgrades, your storage becomes easier to live with. If you don't, you'll spend more time shuffling items around than planning your next loadout.

Why Hoarding Feels Worse After the Patch
Old habits are going to punish people here. Keeping five backup guns, three stacks of low-value junk, and every bit of ammo you've ever found might look safe, but it cuts into your flexibility. The new compression and sorting behavior helps with common materials, sure, but it doesn't magically fix bad decisions. Rare parts still take priority. Gear still eats space. And when overflow starts affecting how comfortably you can prep for the next raid, it stops being a storage problem and becomes a survival problem.

Smarter Sorting Helps, But It Won't Play for You

The improved auto-sort is one of the better parts of the update. Combat supplies are easier to read at a glance, crafting materials sit closer to the upgrade paths they belong to, and consumables don't feel quite as buried as before. Still, you shouldn't rely on it like a panic button. A good player will build a habit: sell or craft after each run, keep only the gear they'll actually use, and leave enough open space for a lucky extraction. Around 15 to 20 percent free space is a good rule. It sounds boring, but it saves raids.

How Better Stash Habits Change Your Runs

This update rewards players who cycle loot instead of worshipping it. Bring items out, turn them into upgrades, clean the stash, then go back in with a purpose. Farming runs should have a different storage plan from PvP-heavy runs, and material hunts shouldn't be mixed with random trophy gear. U4GM is a professional platform for players who want convenient access to game currency or items, and you can buy u4gm ARC Raiders BluePrints there if you want a smoother setup before heading back into tougher raids with less downtime and more control.
